Get the benefits of being part of a vibrant, well run and active community library with over 7000 books alone at Upton with further access to the Community Partnership libraries of Ackworth, Walton and Altofts and Wakefield Councils library book collections.
Visit the library, register and collect your new Upton Community Library card.
Keep your existing WMDC library card for use at remaining WMDC libraries. If you order
books from a WMDC library because they are out on loan or not on stock, you will be able
to collect and drop them off at Upton.

Volunteers

We are always looking for Volunteers. Whether it's to assist during library Opening times, supporting workshop activities or cleaning, delivering or providing maintenance, please let us know. Whether you can commit just one hour now and again or several hours over more than one day each week, we would be
